Unlike the previous seasons, Finnish, Hebrew, Danish, Norwegian, Hungarian, and Polish audio tracks are not available, as are closed captions in languages other than English. Viewers can expect them to be added later.
As the Pokémon TV service is operated by The Pokémon Company International, it is region-locked so that videos on the channel are not available in Asian countries where The Pokémon Company retains distribution rights. In particular, it is not available in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, mainland China, East Timor, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, the Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam. The service is available in the territories coloured green on the attached map.
The original Pokémon TV service was launched in 2010 and provided select episodes of the Pokémon animated series to viewers. It was available as a website or as an app for various OSes. The service was discontinued in January 2024. On December 2nd, 2024, the Pokémon Company International launched the Pokémon TV YouTube channel, and episodes from the first season of the animated series premiered on the channel on December 6th. The channel releases full episodes, live streams, compilations, and more.
