High Score Event: Poison and Dragon Conqueror
Poison and Dragon Conqueror is the latest High Score Event in Pokémon Masters EX, in which Trainers can attempt to score the highest amount possible within a set of five battles. Poison and Dragon Conqueror once again will see players facing off against trainers from two different types, with this event's gauntlet including Leon, Geeta, Lance, Cynthia, and Iris. By completing battles in this event and achieving a higher total score, players will be able to earn a variety of rewards, including 5★ Power-Ups, Certificates of Excellence, Move Candy and Roll Cake Coins, and Skill Feathers.
Players can also obtain Gems ×100, Poison Tome, Vol. 1 ×60, Poison Codex, Vol. 1 ×60, Dragon Tome, Vol. 1 ×60, and Dragon Codex, Vol. 1 ×60 as first-time rewards for completing each battle.
Each High Score Event comes with a set of Event Rules that apply to all battles, and serve as a set of conditions to evaluate how players have completed each battle. The ratings on each of these rules determine the player's base score for each battle. The rules for Poison and Dragon Conqueror are as follows:
Each of these above rules has a maximum score of 3,000, for a total of 9,000 possible score from Event Rules. In addition to these Event Rules, players will also be able to boost their base score by satisfying additional Challenge Rules. The two Challenge rules for the Poison and Dragon Conqueror event are as follows:
On top of these bonuses, players will receive the following multipliers to their base Score depending on their number of Poison- and Dragon-type sync pairs in their party:
With these multipliers, players must include at least one Poison- or Dragon-type sync pair in their team to receive a score for each battle. As each Sync Pair will only be able to join a single battle in the set of five, players will need to have teamed up with a wide variety of Poison- and Dragon-type Sync Pairs if they want to ensure the highest score possible.
Four of the five battles in this particular High Score Event also have additional special rules:
A ranking feature is also available to this event, allowing players to see how well they've done against other trainers. Players whose Best Score is within the top 10,000 spots at the end of the event will be awarded Master Rank, receiving a special Medal as a general mission reward. Final Ranking Results will only be announced after the event has concluded, from September 10th, at 11:00pm (PDT), and will remain available until September 17th, at 10:59pm (PDT).
Players should also note the following when playing this event:
After making her debut in the Six-Year Anniversary: Paid-Gem Scout ×25 EX Master Fair earlier this week, Irida (Anniversary 2025) & Typhlosion can now also be scouted through their own individual EX Master Fair Scout, available in-game through to October 6th, at 10:59pm (PDT).
EX Master Scouts will operate similar to Master Fairs, with an offering rate of 1% for the featured EX Master Sync Pair, 2% for additional featured 5★ Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs, and 12% for other 5★ Sync Pairs, which may include other Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs. Like with normal Master Fair Scouts, EX Master Fair Scouts require 400 scout points before players are able to get a free selection of any one Sync Pair available in the Scout.
The two Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs who will join Irida (Anniversary 2025) & Typhlosion in this scout are Sygna Suit Roxie & Toxtricity, and Atticus & Revavroom.
The Irida EX Master Fair includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout. The first twelve times players perform a Sync Pair Scout ×11 for this scout, they will also receive the following bonus presents:
In addition, a Special Present! Irida EX Master Fair is also available, requiring paid gems. The first twelve times players perform a Sync Pair Scout ×11 for this scout, they will also receive the following bonus presents:
In addition, players who team up with Irida (Anniversary 2025) & Typhlosion in this Special Present scout will also receive a Strike Roll Cake item, which is required to unlock their EX Role.
Irida (Anniversary 2025) & Typhlosion are the first Sync Pair to be added to the game with the ability to apply the Special Move Break effect to a target. Their Illusory Light Hex attack, which applies this effect, can only be used after an opponent has been affected by a status condition. In addition to applying Special Move Break, the attack's power is doubled when the target is affected by a status condition, and will lower the target's accuracy by three stat ranks. Their Master Passive Skill is Hisui's Shining Pearl, which powers up the moves and sync moves of all allied sync pairs by a base 20%, and reduces attack move and sync move damage taken by all allied sync pairs by a base 25%. Each sync pair with the Sinnoh theme on your team raises these percentages by 15% and 3% respectively, for a value of 35% and 28% if Irida (Anniversary 2025) & Typhlosion is the only Sinnoh pair on your team, and a maximum 50% and 31% if your entire team are from Sinnoh. The skill also restores the HP of all allied Sync Pairs by roughly 20% the first time Irida (Anniversary 2025) & Typhlosion use their sync move.
Irida (Anniversary 2025) Gem Emote
A special Gems with Gym Emotes offer is available from the in-game shop alongside the Irida EX Master Scout, allowing players to obtain a Irida (Anniversary 2025) Gym Emote as a present. This offer, which comes with 250 paid gems, can be purchased under the With Emotes tab in the Purchase Gems menu of the in-game shop.
Special Event: Trainer Tales Championship
Starting today, a series of ten stories will return to the game at a rate of one event per day. These stories represent the ten most popular stories from events to date.
Today's story is the 10th place Twin Stars Far Apart, which first ran as the game's Summer seasonal event in 2023. Additionally, the recent events for the debuts of Juliana, Florian, Carmine, and Kieran, Five Friends' Treasure Hunt and From Kitakami—Continued, are also returning as an extra bonus.
As with other recent batch-returns of stories, the return of these stories in Trainer Tales Championship is only a return of the Story Stages, and will not feature any battle stages, nor any ability to earn event-exclusive rewards that were previously offered in these events or previous re-runs.
