Road to Worlds: Pokémon Video Game Championships is the sequel to the four episode 2023 series simply entitled Road to Worlds. Where that series covered competitors of the 2022 Pokémon World Championships, this series covers competitors Wolfe Glick and Markus Stadter, and casters Rosemary Kelley and Lou Akcoş-Cromie and events leading up to and including the Pokémon 2024 World Championships. Additionally, a sneak peak will be streamed on official Pokémon Twitch channel and costreamed by Wolfe Glick on his Twitch channel. While it appears that the new series has one episode fewer than the prior series, after the final episode airs on March 21, 2025 the Pokémon Twitch channel will run a behind the scenes livestream. This will include additional commentary from the cast members. The series was announced during the closing ceremony of the 2025 Pokémon Europe International Championships, but a new post published revealed the airing dates for the show and the two livestreams.
This series will be available in a number of languages, including French, Italian, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. However, both livestreams for the series will only broadcast in English.
