These three cards contain multiple references to the Larvitar, Dark Pupitar, and Dark Tyranitar cards from the 2004 Japanese expansion Rocket Gang Strikes Back, released internationally as EX Team Rocket Returns, including several similar attacks and abilities. The video also makes reference to how the cards can be used together with Team Rocket's Ampharos, much as the original 2004 cards did with Dark Ampharos from the same set in the classic Rock Lock deck that was a staple of the competitive meta in that era.
