The Pokémon Center has returned with frequent collaborator, skate and surf brand Bear Walker, to show off another round of Pokémon-themed decks. This drop features art of Eevee and all its evolutions on Bear Walker’s handcrafted skateboard decks, in conjunction with the Pokémon Center’s Year of Eevee.
Each of Eevee’s evolutions is featured on its own deck, hand-made from maple and pressed with iridescent art. Eevee itself has a custom-shaped skate deck, also hand-made from maple and with a milled grip pattern. The Bear Walker decks are available at the Pokémon Center for the US, UK, and Canada, though several are already sold out.
This is the second Eeveelution collection from Bear Walker, with the first having featured them on milled decks. “I wanted to make it feel like you were pulling an illustration rare card, so we designed custom environments for each Eevee/Evolution that I felt represented the character,” stated Bear Walker on their website.
Only Eevee is designed as a functional skate deck, and comes with custom wheels, trucks, and a numbered holographic card for $299.99 USD. The Eeveelutions are designed as art pieces and do not include wheels or trucks, and retail for $129.99 USD. These are limited edition decks, with only 1,600 Eevee decks having been made, and an equal or smaller number of each Eeveelution.
