The Pokemon Company has revealed a new collection of home goods making use of Pokémon’s in-game characteristics in their designs, such as a mini trash can shaped like Trubbish. This new drop will arrive at Pokemon Centers across Japan on April 26th, and to the Pokémon Center Online on April 24th.
The collection starts with a mirror for ¥3,960 ($27.81 USD), featuring Mimikyu looking at its reflection trying to fix its disguise. The aforementioned Trubbish trash can retails for ¥3,300 ($23.18 USD), and a plush tissue box cover shaped like Cubchoo retails for ¥2,970 ($20.86 USD). Sprigatito features as an aroma diffuser for ¥3,850 ($27.04 USD), as a reference to its Pokémon Violet Pokédex entry mentioning the sweet scent that emanates from its body.
Gallade and Gardevior feature as a pair of bookends, posed like they’re using Reflect, for ¥3,960 ($27.81 USD). A fridge deodorizer shaped like Snorunt retails for ¥2,750 ($19.31 USD), while adult-sized slippers shaped like Psyduck will be ¥3,960 ($27.81 USD). Maushold’s Family of Four form gets a clock for ¥4,950 ($34.77 USD), in which the family members reunite at 9:25, in reference to the Pokémon’s Pokédex number of 925.
To round out the collection, Geodude with its arms outstretched will be available as a clothes hanger for ¥2,420 ($17.00 USD), and Bulbasaur will appropriately feature as a mini planter for ¥4,400 ($30.90 USD).
No part of this collection will be available via Amazon Japan.
