The Pokémon Company has revealed some new plushes coming to Pokémon Centers in Japan, including additions to the very popular Sitting Cuties line (Pokémon fit in Japan) and to the Mocchirich plus line. The new Sitting Cuties will arrive in-store on May 10th and to the Pokémon Center Online on May 8th, while the new Mocchirich plushes will arrive in-store on May 3rd, and to the Pokémon Center Online on May 1st.
The new drop of Sitting Cuties will include all the Pokémon that originally debuted in Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, seeing 116 additions in total. There will be several different forms of Pokémon available, such as Lycanroc’s Midday, Midnight, and Dusk Forms, as well as all the Ultra Beasts and regional forms from Alola. Each plush will retail for between ¥1,430 and ¥1,980 ($9.09 to $12.59 USD), and this new round of additions can be expected to eventually make their way to other online Pokémon Centers around the world, as the previous additions to the Sitting Cuties line have. While not every single plush has a picture preview, most can be seen in a sneak peak from the Pokémon Daisuki Club.
The following list of Sitting Cuties will become available via Amazon Japan in limited quantities beginning May 17th, with preorders opening May 10th.
The Japan-exclusive Mocchirich plush line is also getting an addition, though a much smaller one. Three new Pokémon will be added to the line, which is described as having a soft, marshmallow feel and gentle colors. Poliwag, Wooper, and Ralts will each retail for ¥5,280 ($36.63 USD). None of these three will be available via Amazon Japan.
