Kubfu can now evolve into either one of Urshifu's forms. Trainers have to defeat either 30 Dark-type Pokémon or 30 Water-type Pokémon in raids or Max Battles with Kubfu as the Buddy Pokémon to evolve Kubfu into the Single Strike Style or Rapid Strike Style forms respectively after using 200 Kubfu Candy. Kubfu does not have to defeat the Pokémon.

Free battle-themed Timed Research will be available over the Final Strike: GO Battle Week, rewarding the following and more:

Might and Mastery Special Research
The next installment of the Might and Mastery Seasonal Special Research story will be available to all Trainers beginning at the start of the event. Trainers can complete tasks to earn Mysterious Components, Kubfu Candy, encounters with event-themed Pokémon like Charcadet with a Special Background, and more.
Paid Special Research - Fuzzy Fighter
Trainers can purchase the Fuzzy Fighter paid Special Research for US$7.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency) to play through separate Special Research and encounter Dynamax Kubfu again. Please note that Trainers who purchased or received this Special Research during the Powerful Potential event cannot receive it again.

The ticket for this Special Research can be purchased from May 19, at 10:00am to May 27th, at 8:00pm local time. To receive the Special Research, Trainers must open Pokémon GO at some point between these two dates. After receiving the Special Research, it can be completed at any time.

Fuzzy Fighter Ultra Ticket Box
