Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active throughout the event's 3-hour period:
PokéStop Showcases for Machop will be running throughout the event at different PokéStops.
Additionally, Machoke that are evolved into Machamp between the start of the event and May 31st, at 10:00pm local time will learn the Charged Attack Payback. This attack has 110 power in Trainer Battles, and 95 power in Gyms and raids.
Field and Timed Research
Community Day exclusive Field Research will be available during the event, awarding additional encounters with Machop, along with item rewards including Stardust and Great Balls. Trainers will also receive Timed Research that awards an encounter with a Machop that has a Might and Mastery-themed Special Background. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before May 31st, at 10:00pm local time.
Special Research
A Machop Community Day-exclusive Special Research will be available for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Trainers completing this research will receive additional rewards, including one Premium Battle Pass, one Rare Candy XL, additional encounters with Machop, and three encounters with Machop that have a Seasonal Special Background. This Special Research can also be gifted to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.
Ultra Community Day Box
Beginning May 14th, at 10:00am PDT, Trainers will be able to purchase an Ultra Community Day Box on the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). It will contain two Rare Candies and one Special Research ticket.
