Pokémon Rumble to feature in this weekend's Bingothon Summer 2025 speedrunning marathon benefiting Doctors Without Borders
The Summer 2025 edition of Bingothon is scheduled for this weekend from June 13rd to June 15th. The event will be raising money for Doctors Without Borders. A playthrough of Pokémon Rumble will be featured in the event, in which the runner will attempt to complete five objectives on a bingo card. The event can be watched from the Bingothon Twitch channel.
As the name suggests, Bingothon is a series of events featuring Bingos, a popular alternative means of speedrunning games besides going for completion. The goal of a bingo is to complete a line of objectives given on a 5x5 card. Various different modes exist, including completing multiple lines, team variants, or lockout - wherein objectives completed by one racer cannot be completed by another. A sample board for Pokémon Snap is provided here as an example.
