Collection Challenge and Field Research
Event-themed Field Research tasks, as well as catching-focused Collection Challenges, will be available as part of this event.
Trainers completing the Field Research tasks will receive Mega Energy and encounters with event-themed Pokémon. Completing the Collection Challenges meanwhile will award Trainers with XP, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.
Trainers can purchase an event ticket giving access to event-exclusive Timed Research for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Rewards from this Timed Research include:
The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed, and their rewards must be claimed, before July 20th, at 8:00pm local time.
Water Festival Ultra Ticket Box
A Water Festival Ultra Ticket Box will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). It includes an event ticket for access to the Paid Timed Research, plus one Star Piece.
