Project VOLTAGE live concerts announced for March 20th-22nd, 2026 — New PokéMiku song to be released next month on September 18th

Almost five months after the last major Project VOLTAGE update, posts on the official website and social media accounts for the project, as well as on the official YouTube channels for Hatsune Miku and Pokémon in Japan, have announced that a series of special Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku VOLTAGE Live concerts will be held at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY next year on March 20th through 22nd. A new Project VOLTAGE song, implied to be themed around N from Pokémon Black and White, will also be released next month on September 18th.

The concert will include performances of every single song released under Project VOLTAGE and Project VOLTAGE High ↑ to date, in addition to other as yet unrevealed songs.

In addition to appearances by Vocaloid characters Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Len, Megurina Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO, the concert will also feature a guest appearance by the non-Vocaloid virtual singer Kasane Teto, as well as appearances from Meloetta, Pikachu, and other as yet unnamed Pokémon (likely a selection of those featured in each song's official music video).

Fans will be able to enter a lottery to purchase tickets for the event from September 1st, at 10:00am (JST). Seats for fans 18 and under will be available from 3,900円 (including tax), while those for older fans range from 8,900円 (including tax) for seats in the cheapest zone A, through to 13,900円 (including tax) for those in zone SS closest to and directly in front of the stage. More details on tickets and the seating arrangements can be found on the concert's official website. At this point in time, it's not clear if this concert will receive any sort of official online stream, or under what circumstances such a stream might happened (e.g. as a pay-to-view event).

The concert's official artwork was created by TAKE, a character designer and illustrator who contributed to Pokémon Sun & Moon, Sword & Shield, Legends: Arceus, and Scarlet & Violet. Their distinctive artwork and designs have also been featured in a range of other Japanese franchises including the Zaregoto Series, Katanagatari, and Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX. The inspiration for this new design of Hatsune Miku apparently came from the idea of "What if Hatsune Miku were to secretly appear in the world of Pokémon...?".

Two additional announcements were also made alongside this concern announcement.

Firstly, it's also been announced that a range of Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE High ↑ merchandise will be released in Pokémon Center stores in Japan. As of writing, no details have been revealed on exactly what merchandise will be available, though we presume that an official CD collection of all songs would surely be on the cards.

Secondly, a brand new PokéMiku song created by a new Vocaloid Producer to the project will be releasing on Thursday, September 18th. The imagery used in the short clip for the announcement, and the wording of the teaser post for this on the project's official account on X which ask the question of "Truth or Ideals", suggests this song will be themed around N from Pokémon Black and White. Though the exact timing of the new song hasn't yet been announced, based on past songs we can expect it to go up around 6:30pm (JST), which would put it at 9:30am (UTC) / 2:30am (PDT).
